Los BRIT Awards a menudo llamado simplemente BRITs, son los premios anuales a la Industria Fonográfica Británica de la música pop. El nombre fue originalmente una forma abreviada de Britannia o British, pero posteriormente se ha convertido en un "bacrónimo" de British Record Industry Trust.
