Conducidos por la mega estrella de la WWE, John Cena, los Kids' Choice Awards US 2017 se realizaron el sábado 11 de marzo en Los Ángeles y los más chicos premiaron sus estrellas favoritas del cine, la televisión, la música, la cultura pop y la animación. Ellen DeGeneres, Fifth Harmony, Kevin Hart, Chris Hemsworth y Zendaya fueron algunos de los grandes ganadores que se llevaron el mítico blimp naranja de los KCA.

Este año, el show arrancó con Jace Norman, estrella de Henry Danger, teletransportandose del set de la serie a la orange carper donde se topó con el comediante Kel Mitchell y la cantante teen furor JoJo Siwa, Miles Brown y Marsai Martin de Black-ish, antes de encontrarse con el conductor. John Cena hizo su entrada triunfal entre una masa de chicos entusiasmados, slime y mucha música.

Durante el show, Machine Gun Kelly y Camila Cabello se apoderaron del escenario de los Kids' Choice Awards US con una presentación espectacular en vivo de su single que alcanzó disco de platino "Bad Things". Además, minutos antes de coronarse Estrella Global Favorita, Little Mix, la banda británica sensación, interpretó sus temas más hiteros "Touch" y "Shout out to my ex".

Los KCA 2017 fueron una verdadera fiesta verde: Demi Lovato fue bañada de slime por los Pitufos, Chris Pratt (Guardianes de la Galaxia) recibió una sorpresa llena de slime en el sala de control de los KCA y Kevin Hart (Qué pasó anoche?) se cubrió del mítico liquido verde tras ganar por tercera vez el blimp en la noche por Villano Favorito, Mascota Favorita y Mejores Amigos. Pero ellos no fueron los únicos en recibir el viscoso líquido de Nickelodeon, el elenco de Power Rangers le dieron una dosis del ansiado slime al público presente. Para cerrar el show, John Cena recibió el último baño de la noche.

Este año, los chicos tuvieron la posibilidad de elegir a través de las redes sociales que pasaba en vivo durante el show: Jack Griffo y Kira Kosarin compitiendo en un desafio de "chubby bunny", Big Sean y Bethany Motta lanzandole remeras a la audiencia, DJ Kahled poniendo al elenco de Nicky, Ricky, Dicky & Dawn contra John Cena en una épica lucha y el conductor y Nick Cannon compitiendo en una batalla de hip-hop.

También, Ellen DeGeneres, Gwen Stefani, Heidi Klum, Zendaya, Chris Pine, Zoe Saldana, Nikki Bella, Miranda Cosgrove, John Stamos y el elenco de Fuller House hicieron su aparición durante el show. Las estrellas de School of Rock y Game Shakers, las series furor de Nick, también se hicieron presente.

Además de los votos, las plataformas digitales de Nickelodeon ofrecieron una segunda pantalla que incluyó juegos en tiempo real, encuestas interactivas y contenido exclusivo de fotos y videos desde la alfombra naranja y backstage. Desde las redes sociales de Nickelodeon capturaron los memes, GIFs, videos e imágenes con los mejores momentos de la noche. Los fans del canal podrán revivir esta noche viendo un video con los las situaciones más destacadas del show en Nick.com y en la Nick App.
