Con una investigación judicial en curso para averiguar la causa de la muerte de Michael Jackson, el hermano mayor del "rey del pop", Jermaine Jackson, asegura ahora que no sintió "buenas vibraciones" al conocer al doctor Conrad Murray, el médico personal del cantante sobre el que se ciernen las sospechas.
Jermaine se pregunta en una entrevista concedida al rotativo británico "The Sun" cómo Michael "se puso tan malo en un solo día si su doctor, cuya labor es mantener a alguien en buenas condiciones, estaba a su lado".
A pesar de ello, el hermano de Michael Jackson rechaza hacer uso de la palabra "asesinato", contrariamente a la actitud tomada por Latoya Jackson, quien ha indicado que el "rey del pop" fue asesinado y que ella sabe quién está detrás del crimen.
"Sé que mi hermana dijo que fue un asesinato -prosigue Jermaine- y ese es su modo de pensar. Sus emociones han hablado, como lo han hecho las de mi padre, que ha perdido a su hijo, pero yo digo que hay que esperar a ver qué dicen los informes toxicológicos y, a partir de ahí, actuar".
El que en su día fue uno de los integrantes de los Jackson Five reclama que la muerte de Michael "no se quede para siempre en un misterio", para que el artista "pueda ser recordado por su legado musical".
Michael Jackson falleció en su residencia de Los Ángeles el pasado 25 de junio tras sufrir una parada cardíaca, que podría haber sido causada por el excesivo consumo de analgésicos y sedantes.
El fallecimiento se produjo apenas un mes antes de que el intérprete de "Thriller" tuviera previsto comenzar una gira de medio centenar de conciertos en la capital británica.
Contrariamente a las conjeturas aparecidas en los medios, Jermaine asegura que Michael "estaba preparado" para esa exigente gira y afirma que en una comida familiar celebrada a principios de junio el cantante se despidió de ellos con un "nos vemos en Londres".
"La noche antes de su muerte, mi hermano abrazaba a los músicos y se reía con ellos. Él sabía que podía hacerlo", sentencia Jermaine.
Si finalmente la investigación concluye que alguien está implicado en la muerte del cantante, su hermano asegura que el dolor "será mucho mayor" para la familia. EFE
Arnold Klein, el médico de cabecera del muerto rey del Pop, Michael Jackson, quiere la custodia de dos de los tres hijos que este dejó al morir. Si bien en un principio se pensó que su pedido era por la cercanía entre el dermatólogo y los pequeños, Klein puso sobre la mesa un argumento que piensa defender hasta el final: él es el padre biológico de los niños.
"Yo soy su verdadero padre", dijo Arnold Klein a su círculo de amigos, según reporta el diario Daily Mirror. De acuerdo al medio inglés, Klein es un multimillonario de 64 años que se ha declarado abiertamente homosexual y es llamado "uncle Arnie" (tío Arnie) por los pequeños Prince Michael y Paris Jackson.
El acuerdo entre Michael Jackson y su dermatólogo personal se dio en 1995 y se manejó en medio de un total hermetismo. Ese año, el médico cumplía 50 años y la idea, según se conoce, surgió de una broma entre galeno y paciente, considerando la opción sexual del doctor.
Hoy, 14 años después y tras la muerte de Jackson, "tío Arnie" analiza qué posibilidades tiene de lograr su cometido y es asesorado por sus abogados sobre ello.
"Él dice que puede probar que es el padre junto con Debbie (la madre biológica de Michael Prince y Paris)", aseguró una fuente que el Daily Mirror cita y a la que califica como "bien ubicada".
Cabe mencionar que Klein había asegurado esto días antes, pero pocos le tomaron atención. "Ellos me llaman tío…pero yo soy su padre, si quieren pueden hacerme una prueba de ADN", dijo al periodista Larry King. "No me preocupa. Pero lo que realmente me quita el sueño son estos niños tan especiales para mí", agregó.

Michael Jackson's controversial doctor is planning a shock application for custody of the singer's two eldest children, telling friends: "I'm their real dad."
Hollywood dermatologist Dr Arnold Klein has told friends the extraordinary news that HE wants to look after Prince Michael, 12, and Paris, 11.
Openly gay Klein - at the centre of mounting speculation for the last two weeks that he fathered the pair through artificial insemination - is currently known by the children as "Uncle Arnie".
Now the 64-year-old millionaire has told friends that he IS the biological father, he wants to bring them up and he is consulting lawyers about his options.
A custody application filed with Los Angeles Superior Court in which Klein formally acknowledges he is Prince Michael and Paris's father would be one of the most sensational developments yet in the entire Michael Jackson saga. And it would nail once and for all the Who's-the-Daddy? mystery surrounding the King of Pop, who died last month.
Klein's intervention threatens to throw into total chaos the custody deal that was pending between the children's biological mother, Debbie Rowe, and Jackson's mother Katherine.
A well-placed source, who is close friends with one of Klein's inner circle, told the Sunday Mirror yesterday: "Arnie is planning to fight for custody of Prince Michael and Paris.
"He says he can prove he is their father with Debbie."
Klein, who was Debbie's boss when she married Michael, has never denied outright being the father of one or more of the Jackson children, to whom the singer has left his $500million fortune.
In fact, when offered the chance to definitively rule himself out as the father, Klein has done the opposite.
He has offered cryptically-worded non-denials which have only served to fuel the speculation still further.
Only last week the medic announced to US talk show host Larry King that he had been a sperm donor in the past.
Asked about it, he told King he simply did not know whether he was Prince Michael or Paris's father, adding that the children were the "brightest" and "most well-behaved" he had ever met.
Pointedly, he added: "Michael loved those children as a father, those children loved him as a father.
"The most important thing about the father is who the children want him to be."
The source said Jackson singled out Klein as a sperm-donor because of his fierce intelligence and high IQ.
"Arnie is brilliantly clever," the source revealed. "When Arnie was at college, he would get top marks without having to study - he had a photographic memory and instant recall. He becomes more than just a patient's dermatologist - he takes over their health care.
"He gives them an incredible level of attention."
Klein - who lives alone in a £3million, 30-room LA mansion after splitting recently from his lover - has told close friends he DID father the children through artificial insemination with Debbie after a secret deal with Jackson.
The notion of acting as a sperm donor was planted in Klein's and Jackson's minds in 1995 - by Charlie's Angels actress Kate Jackson.
The source said: "It was Arnie's 50th birthday and about 10 people were sitting around the dinner table. Michael Jackson and Debbie Rowe were both there.
"It was getting late in the evening and everyone was having a good time.
"Suddenly, Kate jokingly asked Arnie if he could father a child with her. Everyone laughed about it because he is so open about being gay. But the night must have planted the seed in Michael's mind.
"Michael revered Arnie - all his patients do because he is so tremendously smart and treats them so well."
Klein, who has also treated Elizabeth Taylor and Cher, has a very close bond with Jackson's children, with whom he was pictured spending last Christmas.
The source added: "Arnie has told his close friends he is Prince Michael and Paris's father for years, while never giving a straight answer in public.
"He says he was paid nothing for the sperm but was paid for keeping the information confidential.
"The kids have grown up with 'Uncle Arnie' visiting the house and spending holidays with them.
"He has always said he loves Michael's children, and remarked on how they are the most amazing kids he has ever met."
Many have already pointed out at his physical resemblance to Prince Michael, when Klein was younger.
But he is not claiming paternity of Jacko's youngest seven-year-old child Prince Michael II - known as Blanket. No details of Blanket's mother or biological father have ever emerged.
Since Jackson's death last month, Klein has given a string of cryptic answers when questioned over whether he fathered the children.
On July 9, he told Larry King: "I donated sperm."
Asked whether he was the father of Jackson's children, he replied: "I still can't answer one way or another."
Then, seconds later, he said: "To the best of my knowledge, I'm not the father."
Klein added: "This discussion, however, is between Michael, his children and this person. "
Asked if he would take a DNA test, Klein said: "If they want me to take a DNA test, they can have my DNA.
"I don't care at this point. My concern is his kids because I've never met children like this. These are the brightest children I've ever met, the best behaved children I've ever met.
"I know how deeply he loved them and how deeply they loved him."
Meanwhile, an ex-boyfriend of Klein has claimed the doctor told him he fathered Jackson's children because the Thriller singer was infertile.
Paul Gohranson, who lived with Klein for four months in 2006, claimed: "He said he donated his sperm because [Jackson] didn't have the ability to even donate sperm, he wasn't producing it anymore."
Jackson joined Klein's roster of clients in 1983, with the doctor treating him for skin condition Vitiligo.
Klein was building up an impressive list of clients, who have included Jackson's close friend Elizabeth Taylor, Cher and Dolly Parton.
The dermatologist prescribed the singer bleaching cream Benoquin in 1990 and famously had to reveal to a Grand Jury how Jackson had tried to bleach his private parts.
Klein is known to be loathed by Jackson's mother, brothers and sisters.
They believe Jackson was over-dependent on smooth-talking Klein - who has admitted prescribing him the strong painkiller Demerol.
Meanwhile, a custody hearing held at LA's superior court on Friday over the Jackson children was put back again until August 3.
Katherine Jackson, 79, was awarded temporary custody of Prince Michael, Paris and the singer's youngest child, son Blanket, after his death.
She is applying to the court for full permanent custody of the three, but her lawyers are now in talks with representatives of Debbie, who wants some access to Prince Michael and Paris.
Sources say Debbie, 50, would be happy for Katherine to raise the children as long as they did not have anything to do with Jackson's controlling father Joe.

AEG Live, la compañía detrás del planeado regreso de Michael Jackson en Londres, está en negociaciones con varios estudios de Hollywood para estrenar en los cines un documental sobre los últimos días del cantante pop, dijo el Wall Street Journal en su página en internet.
La promotora de conciertos con sede en Los Angeles espera recuperar una parte de los 30 millones de dólares que gastó para llevar a cabo una serie de conciertos que Jackson preparaba al momento de su muerte y compensar ingresos perdidos en entradas y productos de marketing, dijo el Journal, citando fuentes cercanas al tema.
El Journal indicó que el acuerdo podría ser alcanzado a partir de la semana próxima.
