La actriz Sandra Bullock se convirtió en la gran ganadora anoche al ser distinguida con cuatro People´s Choice Awards, mientras que "Iron Man 3" se coronó como la película favorita del público.

La ganadora de un Oscar por "Un sueño posible" se hizo con los galardones a mejor actriz, mejor intérprete dramática, mejor intérprete de comedia y mejor dúo junto a George Clooney por su papel en "Gravedad" del cineasta mexicano Alfonso Cuarón, que también se alzó con el premio a la mejor película dramática, según informó la agencia alemana DPA.

Entre los actores, los premios estuvieron más repartidos: el favorito del público en general es Johnny Depp, pero en la categoría dramática el People´s Choice fue para Leonardo DiCaprio, en la de acción para Robert Downey Jr. y en la de comedia para Adam Sandler.

"Gru, Mi Villano Favorito 2" se llevó el premio a la mejor película familiar mientras que "Iron Man 3" repitió como mejor filme de acción y "The Heat" fue distinguida como mejor comedia.

En el terreno del terror, la favorita del público fue "Carrie" y entre los thrillers se impuso "Los ilusionistas".

En la pequeña pantalla, "The Big Bang Theory" se alzó con el premio a la mejor serie cómica y "The Good Wife" como mejor serie dramática, mientras que "Homeland" se impuso como favorita en la televisión por cable.

Por otro lado, en las categorías musicales, Justin Timberlake y Demi Lovato fueron coronados mejores artistas; la banda favorita del público son los británicos One Direction, mientras que el single de Katy Perry "Roar" se impuso como mejor canción y el disco "The 20/20 Experience", de Timberlake, como mejor álbum.

Los People´s Choice Awards fueron creados en 1970 y son votados por el público estadounidense en las categorías de cine, televisión y música.

En esta 40 edición, la gala estuvo presentada por las actrices de "2 Broke Girls", Kat Dennings y Beth Behrs.
