TNT PRESENTA LA 90° ENTREGA DEL OSCAR® EN VIVO PARA TODA LATINOAMÉRICA

The Shape of Water, Blade Runner 2049, Star Wars: Los últimos Jedi, Phantom Thread y Dunkirk resultaron las favoritas para ganar la estatuilla dorada.

El domingo 4 de marzo finaliza la carrera por el máximo galardón del cine que otorga La Academia. La 90º entrega del Oscar® será en Los Ángeles y podrá verse en VIVO y en DIRECTO por TNT (en tu idioma) y por TNT Series (en idioma original) .

Axel Kuschevatzky y Liza Echeverría estarán junto a las celebridades más reconocidas, haciendo la cobertura en vivo desde la alfombra roja. César Cardoza estará a cargo de las traducciones y Rafael Sarmiento eIleana Rodríguez comentarán cada detalle de la codiciada ceremonia, conducida por segundo año consecutivo por el comediante y presentador Jimmy Kimmel.

The Shape of Water del mexicano Guillermo del Toro se convirtió en la producción favorita con 13 nominaciones destacando Mejor Director, Mejor Guión Original, Mejor Actriz de Reparto, Mejor Película, entre otros. Le siguen la producción de Christopher Nolan, Dunkirk con ocho postulaciones y Blade Runner 2049, Star Wars: Los últimos Jedi y Phantom Thread con siete cada una. Three Billboards, outside Ebbing, Missouri y Darkest Hour estarán presentes en seis categorías.

Las producciones que competirán por el máximo reconocimiento en la categoría de mejor película son Call me by your name, Darkest Hour, Dunkirk, Get Out, Lady Bird, Phantom Thread, The Post, The Shape of Water y Three Billboards, outside Ebbing, Missouri.

Entre las nominadas a Mejor Maquillaje y Peinado se encuentran Darkest Hour (donde Gary Oldman pasó más de 200 horas en la sala de maquillaje para convertirse en Winston Churchill), Victoria & Abdul y Wonder (en la Jacob Tremblay, sufre una impresionante transformación facial donde interpreta a un niño con diferencias estéticas).

Por otro lado, en la categoría Mejor Vestuario destacan Victoria & Abdul (Consolata Boyle), Beauty and the Beast, Darkest Hour (Ambas producciones con Jaqueline Durran, quien ya ganó un Oscar por su trabajo en Anna Karenina en el 2012), Phantom Thread (Mark Bridges) y The Shape of Water (Luis Sequeira).

Blade Runner 2049, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, Kong Skull Island, Star Wars: The Last Jedi y War for the Planet of the Apes son las producciones aún compiten por la estatuilla dorada en la categoría Mejores efectos visuales. Mientras tanto, parael galardón aMejor canción Original los nominados son "Mighty River" de Mudbound, "Mystery of Love" de Call Me By Your Name, "Remember Me" de Coco (de los compositores de "Let it Go" de Frozen, ganadora de este galardón en 2014),"Stand Up For Something" de Marshall y"This Is Me" de The Greatest Showman.
