MTV VMAs VIDEO MUSIC AWARDS 2021

Una de las noches más esperadas del año está de regreso.

Después de una edición sin fans debido a la pandemia, los VMAs se realizarán con público en el Barclays Center de Brooklyn, NY. MTV hará historia este domingo con una increíble noche llena de sorpresas, momentos miusicales y actuaciones que tendrán a todo el mundo hablando.

Los FOO FIGHTERS recibirán el primer reconocimiento "Icono Global" en los VMA, además que actuarán en vivo en la premiación.

Este año, MTV está resaltando el trabajo de creadores emergentes negros, indígenas y de color, al destacarlos durante uno de los momentos más comentados de los VMA 2021.

MTV se asoció con Marlene Marmolejos (@motionmami), Aja Walton (@ajackdannie), y Fred Sands IV (@IVormerlyknownas) para anunciar categorías importantes del show como "Video del año", "Canción del año" y "Artista del año" a través de cada uno de sus diversos medios, desde el arte digital hasta el arte en las uñas.

Los VMA se convertirán en una de las primeras entregas de premios con fans presenciales en Nueva York desde la reapertura de la ciudad. La salud y la seguridad de los artistas, los fanáticos, el personal y los socios siguen siendo la prioridad número uno y MTV y Barclays Center están trabajando en estrecha colaboración con los funcionarios estatales y locales para implementar las mejores prácticas a fin de reunir de manera segura a los fanáticos de la música de todo el mundo. Este año, está preparada para elevar aún más la barra con otra actuación impresionante. Shawn Mendes

Twenty One Pilots

Después de un explosivo debut en los VMA 2015 con A$AP Rocky, TWnty One Pilots volverán al escenario de los VMA para interpretar "Saturday", además de competir para llevarse a casa su tercer Moon Person "Mejor video alternativo".

Camila Cabello

Conocida por entregar momentos que acaparan la atención cada vez que sube a un escenario de MTV, Camila Cabello está lista para hacer su regreso a los VMA presentando "Don't Go Yet", después de su apasionante presentación de "Señorita" en 2019 con Shawn Mendes.

Lil Nas X

El poderoso artista Lil Nas X luchará por el codiciado premio "Video del año" y traerá a los VMAs otro éxito que desafía los géneros musicales.

Lorde hará su esperado regreso a los VMA desde su última actuación en 2017. LORDE hará de los VMA un explosivo debut de su más reciente proyecto discográfico Solar Power, que será lanzado el 20 de agosto.

Machine Gun Kelly

Machine Gun Kelly hará su debut en los VMA con el estreno mundial de su nuevo sencillo "papercuts", de su próximo álbum born with horns.

El rapero y cantante estadounidense se llevó a casa el VMA por "Mejor artista alternativo" en los VMA 2020 y este año está nuevamente nominado en dicha categoría.

Olivia Rodrigo

La cantautora multi-Platino Olivia Rodrigo hará su debut en los VMA. Además, está nominada por primera vez a la premiación con cinco en total, incluyendo "Artista del año" y "Canción del año".
