"People´s Choice Awards" celebrará una vez más todas las formas de entretenimiento, elegidos íntegramente por el público.
En cada una de las 40 categorías, los fanáticos de todo el mundo podrán votar por los nominados que representan lo mejor del año en películas, televisión, música y cultura pop.
Llegan los People's Choice Awards con transmisión exclusiva en VIVO para toda Latinoamérica desde el Barker Hangar en Santa Mónica, California celebrando un año sin precedentes en la cultura pop, al tiempo que reunirá a la industria del entretenimiento y a sus fanáticos para honrar a los ídolos de cada categoría que nos han inspirado durante todo el año.
Entre los muchos nominados se encuentran íconos de la industria como Beyoncé, Leonardo DiCaprio, Taylor Swift, Ryan Gosling, Bad Bunny, Olivia Rodrigo, Pedro Pascal, Jennifer Aniston, Meryl Streep, Julia Roberts, Tom Cruise así como también Timothée Chalamet, Kim Kardashian, Jenna Ortega, Jennifer Lawrence, America Ferrera, Natalie Portman, Bad Bunny, Taylor Swift, entre muchos otros.
También, en representación de Latinoamérica brillan Ángela Aguilar, Anitta, Becky G, Kali Uchis, Karol G, Rosalía, Shakira, Young Miko, Bad Bunny, Bizarrap, Feid, Manuel Turizo, Maluma, Peso Pluma, Rauw Alejandro y Ozuna.
Para está nueva edición People's Choice Awards 2024 anuncia las siguientes nuevas categorías "Artista country masculino", "Artista country femenina", "Artista latino masculino", "Artista latino femenina" y "Gira de conciertos".
"La misión de los 'People's Choice Awards' sigue siendo dar voz a aquellos cuya opinión es la más importante: la gente", afirma Cassandra Tryon, Vicepresidenta Senior de Entretenimiento Eventos en vivo de NBCUniversal Television and Streaming. "Trasladar la transmisión al corazón de la temporada de premios y ampliar nuestro alcance a la audiencia crea una plataforma para que la voz de la gente se escuche más fuerte que nunca, brindando a las estrellas y a sus fanáticos la oportunidad de celebrar juntos", concluyó.
La gran celebración al mejor estilo Hollywood incluirá sorprendentes actuaciones lideradas por las estrellas globales del momento, así como lo hizo Shania Twain, en la última edición quien interpretó una mezcla de sus grandes éxitos y además recibió el premio "Icono de la música", mientras que Ryan Reynolds fue reconocido con el "Premio Icon" por sus contribuciones al cine y la televisión.
Por su parte, en la categoría "Influenciador Latino del Año" la reconocida cantante y actriz peruana Flavia Laos, fue elegida íntegramente por votos de los fans para brillar en la alfombra roja y la premiación desde Los Angeles, California.
La última edición "People's Choice Awards", exaltó las tendencias de la industria con un crecimiento interanual de los ratings en la cadena de transmisión y generando 173 millones de interacciones totales en plataformas lineales, digitales y sociales.
